About

Carpbrain
is made up of some of the most critically acclaimed musicians of the modern
age. Certain members of the band are known to have written the entire Hawkwind
catalog from 1979-1986.
Carpbrain has, in its
fabled career, had the opportunity to open for the Who, Bread, and the Austrian
heavy metal gods Doghammer.
Never a band to shy away
from controversy, Carpbrain has toured as a genetically-modified Hegelian power
trio, a "total silence" experience (which caused riots in Sydney and
Oslo) and are best remembered by some as the groundbreaking octet who charged
$320 a ticket to hear the London Philharmonic play a single note while the band
sipped absinthe and lounged in silk evening gowns.
Most recently, they fired
their longtime drummer, Buck Wheato, and replaced him with a 3.5-horsepower
Briggs & Stratton lawnmower engine. So far, record sales have not suffered
at all, and rumours are spreading that Max Weinberg is not long for the E Street
Band as Bruce Springsteen has been seen lately in the company of a McCulloch
18-inch chainsaw and an industrial-strength egg timer.
